I created a new blog!

YES I have just started another blog on Savings and Free stuff! I love a bargain and love to get stuff for free. I am a bargainer by nature and as we Mexicans love to say "regatear". I manage millions of dollars for a living, so I am always looking to either save a buck or make a buck LOL Those of you that know me well, .....know this is true. I am also an entrepreneur by heart having started my own sales corporation at the age of 9 where I developed an idea, "hired" local neighborhood kids to do the sales, then I paid them commission! I know I was a weird kid. But hey, I managed to buy my mom that mother's day present ;) So enjoy the new blog and feel free to comment on it and share. I posted a link right on the sidebar! Here's the link http://savingsfortoday.blogspot.com Enjoy :D

Aaron's Birthday

Since my laptop was down and then I couldn't find my cord for the camera to upload my pics, I haven't even posted about Aaron's 6th birthday. I can't believe he is so big now!! We took him out to eat (he chose the MALL, I don't know why he loves the mall so much, but he chose it, then he chose to go bowling. He loves bowling too. We all had a great time. We are so proud of him. He is so helpful when it comes to chore time and is always willing to dance with his mom (and his mom is a dancing maniac Ha Ha).He loves playing video games with his brother, of course, and he is a movie buff just like the rest of us. Happy Birthday big guy! We love you.

Aaron the GREATEST Baseball player!

Aaron is playing advanced TBall and he has been doing really well. In the game against the Indians, he did so well hitting the ball without the T and "outing" a couple of players as a third baseman, that he got the ball for the game! The coach announced it at the end of the game and you should have seen Aaron's face light up! He really likes playing this game and he doesn't even go to practice b/c it's on Sundays. We are so proud of our little guy, especially since neither one of his parents are athletically inclined!

OKTOBERFEST!!

My three nieces spent the night with us and so early this morning I decided to take the whole clan out to Downtown McKinney for Oktoberfest! We got there pretty early and they got to pet some bunnies, piglets, goats and ponies. I got to find some cool cheap deals on a couple of wrought iron shelves and a wooden shutter that I plan to paint and use in my newly painted bathrooms!! I will have to post some pics later when I am done!! My nieces are so sweet and fun to have around and my boys love to have them!!

New School Year!

Wow haven't posted in a long time. Mainly because I stupidly spilled an entire glass of chocolate milk on my laptop and now Sergio is working diligently on saving whatever data he can AGGHH!! Well another school year has started. Aaron is excited to be a first grader. We just found out on Friday that he needs glasses. He is happy about wearing glasses and asked me if they would make him "smarter". I said yes of course. Ellison is busy taking a whole bunch of AP classes at school and working towards expanding her art portfolio. She is working towards a scholarship at either UNT or the Kansas City Art Institute. Josh is busy fulfilling his Cub Scout requirements so he can advance to Boy Scout next month! I can't believe he will be in my church's Young Men program next year. All in all it has been a great Summer. I will post some pics once I find my cameras cord. This computer does not have a card reader.
