This past week was hectic and relaxing all at the same time. At work I had to hurry up and finish all my month end stuff to get ready to attend a conference at Lake Conroe. After all that was done the hubster and I headed down to the conference together. It was nice to be away alone. It was so pretty. We stayed at a really nice resort in a pretty snazzy room . {view from our balcony} We arrived Wednesday evening and after checking in and registering me for the conference we went out to dinner. We found a little Mexican place off the beaten path and enjoyed a nice meal. We always like to venture a little out of the main streets to see what we can find. On the way there we saw this place called Fajita Jack's all lit up with colorful lights and lots of flash. We decided that we wanted a nice quiet dinner...and more authentic if you will.
