PICK YOUR PLUM WINNER AND CHRISTMAS WRAP UP

WELL HAPPY N E W Y EAR EVERYONE! How was your Chr istmas?  M ine was o .k. I got the flu for Chr istmas. Nice, huh?  But hey, I got to see it snow from my bedroom wind ow so that was N ICE. :)  I'd say we got about 5 inches and more is  exp ected next week ( (fing ers crossed))  XXXXXXX It seems this pas t month I just coul dn't catch a b reak in regards to my heal th. So you bet I'm ready for a new mo nth and a new year. I have SO many great things planned for this little ole blog and my pho tography business.  It 's exciting isn't it? Making plans, and all. Any who, since I've been laid up in bed for the better part of three weeks (first in the hospital wi th another TIA and then my bedroom- YUCK) I 've had way too much time on my iPad looking up cool apps and websites to share with y 'all.  The first on e is Next Issue . Tis the Season to Be Thankful

This has been a long and painful week. I was sa ddened to w ak e up last Friday to the horrify ing news in Connecti cut. My heart goes out to all affected.  I've been moving a bit slow la tely. You see a week ago Saturday we had a scare (again) here at our house at my expense. I suffered a mild stroke, (no bleeding this time thank the good L ORD) but I did spend 4 days ho spitalized. I got to have a lum bar punc ture and subsequently a blood patch to patch up a l eak of CSF in my spine. NOT.F UN . But you know w hat ? I am still here . I a m still able to hug my children and cuddle in my bed with my li tt le guy. An d even though my house is a mess, with boxes of or naments that haven't been hung, a b are Christmas tree upstairs (I prom ise I'll get to it) and the sto c kings l aying by the chimney with care (I'll hang them eventually ) , my kids are thankful. W hen I asked my kids what they wanted for Christmas and to please w rite out th e ir wish
