Happy Summer! I've been pretty busy around here finishing up all my projects. First up the Sofa is done!! I have started on my coffee table project next and I can't wait to share it with you. In the meantime, I decided to paint my front door, the kickplate and add some snazzy address numbers to the door. Before: You can see that I had already given it the new coat of black paint. I simply took black paint that I had and added unsanded grout to create the chalk paint. I gave it about three coats, letting it dry in between. Then I applied dark wax. I first painted the kickplate with chalk paint Then I gave it two coats with this: I pretty happy with the way it looks. I simply cut out the stencil with my Cricut and used the same metallic paint I had on hand. Now it's your turn to show me what you got by joining our click and chat party!!
