This entire week has been filled to the brim with stuff to be thankful for. I got three days off from work and got to spend some much needed time with the kids. I am thankful for paid holidays :) On Thanksgiving day, we went to our usual place up in Pottsboro,TX-the Tanglewood Resort & Spa. And let me tell ya there ain't nothin' else like it :D It's wonderful to be able to relax and not think about the menu, or cooking or cleaning afterwards. We get to dress up (if we want) and take a beautiful drive up to the resort and eat to our hearts content! As a child, my grandfather always treated us to a sumptuous Thanksgiving feast at one of the local hotels and then another one for Christmas Day. I have wonderful memories of the whole family sitting around talking and eating, and talking and eating....you get the picture. I want to create those same memories for our kids.
