It seems like I haven't been on here in foreva! But I have a good excuse :) You see I 've been fever ishly planning (and th en executing) our 25th Wedd ing Anniversary! Yep. Celebrated the bi g 2 -5 I'll post pics and deets on my next blog post. But for today I want to show you some thing that I refinis hed esp ecially for the event : A 1940s dres ser As you can see the finish was in pretty rough shape. I do love the hardware and the slight curve of the top two drawers. I removed the very heavy mirror and put it away. I still don't know what I'm going to do with it but I'm sure I'll come up with something ;) This dresser lived in my daughter's room for many years. She never did like it though so I told her I wanted it back so I could refinish it. Needless to say she doesn't feel the same way about this dresser any more :) I made my own chalk...
