Even If You Didn't Give Birth

It all began to make sense, the blank stares, the lack of response, the way one of the kids will walk into the room while I'm on the phone and ask to be taken to the store. Inside I'm thinking, 'Can't you see I'm on the phone?' Obviously not; no one can see if I'm on the phone, or cooking, or sweeping the floor, or even standing on my head in the corner, because no one can see me at all. I'm invisible. The invisible Mom. Do It Yourself {DIY Subway Dresser}

I've been putting this project off for a looooong time. I've had the stencils cut out , th e paint all mixed up and the dress er ready to go.  I just didn't feel like doing it. You ever have one of those....years? A little background on this dresser. Th is was a Goodwill find. 10 years ago.  It started out as a little girl 's dresser. The type one would find at Sears . It had a laminate top and seashells on the front drawers.  My hubby went to work on it and removed the seashells and st ripped the top of the laminate.  I painted it in a distressed pattern and used it as a changing table.  Then , w hen we mo ved into this house, I pa inted it again with a horrible brown paint.  I've hated it ever since but have been too lazy to do anyt hing wit h it.      {you can barely see it here^^} My little gu y has a thing for planes.
